The model 7000-500 monitor arm is the mainstay of the Uplifting 7000 series product family. As with other family members, it is robust and adaptable, combining a small desktop foot-print with excellent ergonomic utility.
Due to its wide range of movement and overall ergonomic versatility, the model 7000 is a very popular choice for agile workplaces: over 50,000 units are in use in Australia.
The integrated gas cylinder within the monitor arm housing allows users to very precisely move the monitor as needed. The 7000 series rotates at three joints, offering a high range of adjustability. Once the monitor is moved, it is very steady. Further fine tuning adjustments – up/down, high/low, in/out - can easily be made, without the need for tools. The monitor can be tilted up to 200°, and users can easily pivot the screen from landscape to portrait. Integrated cable management keeps desktops free from clutter.
The model 7000 series monitor arm extends outwards to 61 cm, with a vertical range of 46 cm. When not in use, it can fold away to just 9cm depth, maximising usable desktop space. The high cup mount can be configured for desk edge, thru-desk, grommet hole or side bolt installation, as standard.
A popular option for the 7000 is to fit a laptop tray, which is fixed to the existing VESA bracket supplied with the monitor arm. A tray can easily be retro-fitted as required. Various height and length extenders may also be added. All of which makes the 7000 a very versatile monitor arm, able to suit a variety of functions.
The 7000 is manufactured in the USA from machined aluminium by Innovative Workspaces Inc., the world’s largest dedicated manufacturer of monitor arms, and incorporates many years of incremental production improvements based on customer feedback.
The arm is AFRDI rated for multiple person 24/7 use, the highest independent Australian rating for monitor arms.
