The Louisa chair features a firm seat that stimulates the body’s natural upright response to gravity; Louisa can often assist with rehabilitation and return to work.
The seat pan mould encourages a neutral position for the pelvis, allowing sustainable weight bearing through the sitting bones. Adjusting the back rest forward can decrease the seat depth to 410mm, proving a comfortable platform for the smaller frame.
The back rest mould assists in stabilising the pelvis, as well as providing support to the lumbar and thoracic
spine.
By supporting the large bones of the pelvis and sacrum, less effort is required to maintain good posture in sitting.
The adjustable seat tilt range encourages weight to be shared between the feet and the pelvis, and also orients
the sitter towards the work surface. This conserves energy and reduces strain.
The four way adjustable controls accommodate a wide range of personal and occupational requirements.
Individual controls adjust the backrest height, the backrest angle (including free float option), the seat height,
and the seat tilt (including free float option).
Louisa has a five year warranty.
